After travelling round the globe for several years, singing alongside the world’s best DJ’s, this former model and tremendously gifted singer finally settled down in Amsterdam. With the brightest voice, stunning looks and warm personality she proved to be a rich asset to the dutch entertainment scene. Now she’s the queen of improvised vocals in the dancescene.
With 4 octaves of vocal reach and singing in 4 languages she knocks out the audience and impresses every DJ that works with her.
In 1998 her outstanding voice got noticed in the underground scene.
Being a soulful improviser using her melodious lyrics in various languages she worked as a vocalist with an incredible amount of (inter)national deejays. In the mean time she started recording her vocals with various producers.
Living in Brazil (Rio de Janeiro), Italy, Bali and now Amsterdam she got the chance to meet other cultures and created new skills in singing.
Lex Empress now improvises in several styles of music singing in the languages, Italian, Portuguese, French or English which enhanced her popularity around the world.
She is not just an MC of host of the night, but due to her knowledge of music and people she can work the crowd very well and create an unique vibe during every club night.

A studio in Italy convinced her in 1998 to record a song in Parma, which became the song ‘give it up’ at Positiva Records, very well received by the Italian dance scene. Since then Lex Empress gave her voice to several house tracks (like 16 Bit Lolita's) and is working with different (inter)national producers like respected producer Sven van Hees who released his new album "Synesthesia" in 2005. Lex Empress wrote 2 songs for his album: "The Sun Goes Down" + "Eneas" named after her first son. For her live project with The Royals she wrote songs in another style which is more jazzy, soulful and Latin orientated. She is now working on a track with Born To Funk...
