HUMAN LIFE (exclusive worldwide)
HUMAN LIFE is a new dance music group from Josh Collins, Rachael Starr and Matt Wasley. They all produce music. They all DJ. And they all sing (Matt and Rachael in the studio, Josh in the shower.) Each member of this talented trio hails from a separate corner of the United States and has achieved their own individual success. Now forming HUMAN LIFE, they’re finding the synergy of a group means making great music and having more fun than ever.

Stealing their favorite elements (they’re not giving them back) from dance, indie rock, and global pop, HUMAN LIFE celebrates just that with nine new tracks. These cuts range from dreamy pop to dancefloor storms. HUMAN LIFE looks to an edgy future while nodding to their influences from the past (Howard Jones, Mr. Fingers, Genesis,) and today (Switch and Daft Punk.)

“Turn It Up,” featuring strong vocals from Matt Wasley, is a radio-friendly celebration that’s just plain fun. Rachael Starr’s backup vocals seal this track as one which won’t soon go away. “In It Together” could be Jamie Liddell singing over Groove Armada, but it’s Wasley dropping down an octave for this catchy summertime jam.

Warm and feel good, “Make Me Love You” will nod your head while “We Won’t Stop” demands the entire club get up. “To The End” is a gentle synthy number. It may be the best tune Mylo never made.

If you’ve spent even a few minutes thumbing through a record store, or scanning iTunes, you’ve came across Chicago’s Josh Collins. His 200+ releases on labels like Universal, Hooj Choons, NRK, and Grayhound have made him a favorite of both DJs and clubbers. Like any good producer from the city where house originated, Collins is a wicked DJ.

The sun found in Rachael Starr’s native Southern California shines through her music. Starr’s hits like “Till There Was You,” “Crash,” and “To Forever” have found homes on some of dance music’s brightest record labels (Ultra, Ministry of Sound, Positiva,) and in the CD wallets of the world’s biggest DJs (Pete Tong, Tiesto, Erick Morillo.) Best-selling producers Deadmau5 and Gabriel and Dresden have also remixed her work. Starr finds herself DJing more than ever as her crowd pleasing sets keep her booked at festivals the world over.

Boston’s Matt Wasley plays enough instruments that he could be a one man band. Preferring to work with others, he’s clocked many hours collaborating in the studio, and playing in rock bands. He’s seen his music released on John Digweed’s Bedrock imprint, and Nettwerk where his single “Fade Away” is a true highlight of Grammy-nominee Morgan Page’s most recent long-player.

Get ready to live. HUMAN LIFE is about to find your ears.
