WADKLUB, a party concept created in 2002, started at the famous nightclub “Queen” in Paris and has quickly grown to host the hottest monthly parties all over the world. Since September 2007, WADKLUB has taken place in the hip Parisian club PARIS PARIS and always brings an eclectic fashion forward crowd. WADKLUB will not only rebel to the Fashion scene VIP bottle raid, but it will re-ignite the hip-hop/electro house underground culture. WADKLUB brings together more than 20,000 people from all over the world and takes part in several events throughout the year. WADKLUB is hosted every year in Ibiza, Barcelona and has this year started its monthly in New York in collaboration with the hottest party promoter in downtown Manhattan Roxy Cottontail. WAD - “We Are Different” Magazine is a bilingual French/English quarterly fashion magazine. WAD was launched 10 years ago, when fashion was starting a revolution, and therefore was a respond to the market needs of “whats cool” and WAD rapidly found an audience among trend-setters. WAD explores the cultural references of the street and foresees what will influence the trends of tomorrow. WAD comments on fashion as a lifestyle and illustrates how fashion is embedded into our everyday life. The layout is cleancut and colorful and the ads as well as articles are based on the keywords of “being different”, with a slightly provoking angle. The WAD magazine has over 200,000 WADicted readers, spending from hip trendsetters to Djs and young media professionals over photographers, models, stylists to various creative artists all around the world. The sales are topping the 80.000 copies in France, 60.000 elsewhere in Europe, and 60.000 outside Europe and 12.000 WADicted people receives the magazine for free (because their opinion means a lot and because they are worth it!) To reach the trendsetters of tomorrow an unknown number of WAD is also being distributed at all big fashion events in Copenhagen, London, Barcelona, New York, Amsterdam, Florence, London etc. To get closer and to meet the cool and «down with it » readers, WAD baptized the WADKLUB HAPPY ATTITUDE & URBAN STYLE and is spreading the great vibes all around the world with the Wadklub parties.

DEE NICE is one of those DJ’s who just doesn’t let himself get locked up in his style. He plays HOUSE, ELECTRO, TECH HOUSE, PROGRESSIVE, MINIMAL and DEEP TECHNO – all with the same gusto. His facility to adapt and the groove of his sets makes him one of the popular DJs in Paris. “When a track is good - be it House or Techno – as long as it grooves, I play it… We can leave categories to the disk shops: it’s all about electronic music…”. This Frenchman – a native of the Caribbean – has lived in a musical environment since day one.
Born into a family of musicians, he grew up with Black music: Soul, Funk, Jazz… And it’s still this music which rhythms his life. After having started at Folies Pigalle (Paris) over eight years ago, DEE NICE very quickly affirmed his style and found his place in the sun amongst the best of the DJ crowd. Perfectionist and meticulous, he’s always wanted to bring on a personal touch to his sets, by playing accapellas and by selecting his music very carefully. With his increasingly acclaimed talent, he didn’t waste any time putting that talent to practice by getting a foothold in Paris’ famous “Queen” club for the “WadKlub” nights organised by WAD magazine.
He then followed up by playing in most of the big Parisian nightclubs: “Red Light”, “Bains Douches”, “Studio 287”… Just to mention a few of them. Moreover, DEE NICE is the only DJ who can accumulate such footholds in several Parisian nightclubs, an irrefutable proof that his talent transcends the exclusive cleavages which divide rival clubs.
From that day on, DEE NICE plays frequently abroad, bringing with him the recipe which has made his success: “Music is like a bubble in which you trap people inside. There are three elements to make people dance to a cut: rhythm to get those legs moving, melody to get those hips and shoulders moving and voice (or harmonies) to get that head starting to swirl …”. DEE NICE has notably played in clubs such as La Rocca (Belgium), Cookies (Berlin), Via Notte (Corsica), Paradise Garage (Portugal), Sonar Festival (Barcelona)… Just to mention a few of them.
These are all clubs with an international reputation, and they all appreciated the quality of his work. He often goes back to mix for them. In 2006, he was booked to play at the closing of “Space” in Ibiza. He didn’t go unnoticed there, playing over six hours in Red Box, upstairs at “Space”. “I started at half past midnight and I was supposed to play until 2 in the morning. Not seeing the DJs who were scheduled to play after me, I played until 7 in the morning… It was by far the best of my experiences as a DJ…”.
And it was no coincidence that the following year, the promoters of the Saturday night evening at “Space” - “Gorgeous Ibiza” - called upon his services to be one of their new resident DJs.
DEE NICE is currently a resident at “Folies Pigalle” (Paris) - at the very hype “Paris Paris” club (Paris) for its “WadKlub” evening - at “40 Seconds” (Berlin) for its “My DJ” evening - at “Space” (Ibiza) for the “Gorgeous Ibiza” evening - and at the “Oasis” club (Hammamet, Tunisia).
DEE NICE often has the opportunity to play with the big names of the electronic scene such as TOM NOVY, ERIC MORILLO, SANDY RIVERA, DAVID MORALES, LOUIE VEGA, AXWELL, SANDER KLEINENBERG, TIMO MAAS… He even developed lasting friendships with some of them. A DJ before being a producer, his work with the French label Paradise Records has enabled him to do remixes for DINO LENNY, ELIO RISO, RACHAEL STARR, JESSE GARCIA, DJ GEE, SWEN WEBER…
And so he can express himself fully and give his vision of a cut; working in close collaboration with this label, he has already made about ten remixes. Currently focalising on his own productions, he spends most of his time during the week in his studio and on weekends in the clubs, where he finds the source of his inspirations. This workaholic always has another surprise up his sleeve. His next objective is to place his productions on the best charts. We’ll have to follow up on that one…
